Free trial
- Trials last 14 days and do not require a credit card.
- Manual replay and the Notify, Tag, and Ignore Action step types are available during the trial.
- Transform, step composition, HTTP Request, and Workspace Action Secrets are Business-only capabilities.
- Automated Forward steps require an active paid subscription; attaching a payment method does not unlock them before the trial converts.
- Add a payment method anytime during the trial so the selected plan can continue without interruption.
- If the trial expires without successful payment, the account is suspended until billing is activated.
Managing your subscription
Go to Billing in the sidebar to:
- Add a payment method — securely add a credit card.
- Change plan — move between Pro, Team, and Business. The confirmation screen shows when the change takes effect and any applicable proration.
- View invoices — see payment history and download invoices.
- Cancel — retain paid access until the end of the current billing period.
- Reactivate — resume a cancelled subscription before its paid access lapses.
Add-on packs
Eligible paid accounts can purchase add-on capacity from Billing. Available packs depend on the current plan and can extend limits such as endpoints, Actions, events, AI credits, storage, retention, notification channels, and tunnel connections.
Add-on charges are prorated and appear on the next invoice. A pack cannot be removed when current usage would exceed the resulting limit.
Business includes three workspaces and can add extra workspace packs. Slack App installs follow workspace capacity: each workspace can connect one Slack workspace.
Ingress rate limits
Each plan enforces per-endpoint and per-account limits using fixed per-minute and per-hour windows.
| Window | Pro | Team | Business |
|---|---|---|---|
| Per-endpoint per-minute | 100 | 150 | 200 |
| Per-endpoint per-hour | 2,000 | 3,000 | 5,000 |
| Per-account per-minute | 200 | 300 | 500 |
| Per-account per-hour | 5,000 | 10,000 | 15,000 |
Temporary endpoints created without an account are limited to 50 requests per hour.
When a limit is exceeded, CatchHook responds with 429 Too Many Requests and a Retry-After header indicating when the window resets. Business accounts can request custom per-endpoint overrides.
Payment processing
CatchHook uses Stripe for secure payment processing. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch CatchHook's servers.
What happens when billing lapses
If a subscription expires or payment fails:
- Endpoints stop accepting new webhooks and return
402to senders. - Existing Forward steps remain saved but cannot execute or be reconfigured.
- Persisted Transform and HTTP Request steps remain visible when eligibility lapses, but locked steps do not execute or accept execution-affecting changes until the required capability is active again.
- Existing stored data is retained for the plan's retention period.
- Reactivate billing to resume service immediately.
